How x402 payments work

1

Request hits API

Your client sends a standard HTTP request without credentials.

2

Server returns 402

The server responds with HTTP 402 Payment Required and a machine-readable payment header.

3

Client pays & retries

An x402-compatible client reads the header, submits a micro-payment on-chain, and retries with a payment proof. The server validates and returns data.

Testnet info

CornerdataStore currently runs on Base Sepolia testnet. You'll need test USDC to make paid API calls.
